    Day 1: Arrival in Kigali, Rwanda – City Tour & Transfer to Uganda
    • Pick-up from Kigali International Airport (KGL).
    • City tour of Kigali – Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial & local markets.
    • Lunch in Kigali before driving to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (approx. 4-5 hours).
    • Check-in at your lodge in Bwindi.
    • Dinner and overnight at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge / Buhoma Haven Lodge / Gorilla Mist Camp.
    Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
    • Early breakfast, followed by a safety briefing at the park headquarters.
    • Begin your guided gorilla trekking experience, hiking through the dense forest to observe a gorilla family up close.
    • Spend one magical hour with the gorillas before returning to the base.
    • Receive a gorilla trekking certificate for your achievement.
    • Dinner and overnight stay.
    Day 3: Transfer to Rwanda – Visit Twin Lakes or Cultural Experience
    • Breakfast and check-out.
    • Drive to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda (approx. 4 hours).

    Day 4: Golden Monkey Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

    • Spot these playful primates in their natural habitat, a great contrast to the gorillas.
    • Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
    • Optional visit to the Ellen DeGeneres Gorilla Fund & Research Center.
    • Dinner and overnight stay.
    Day 5: Optional Dian Fossey Hike & Relaxation

      • Hiking to Dian Fossey’s tomb to learn about her legendary work in gorilla conservation.
      • Relaxing at the lodge and exploring the surroundings.

    Day 6: Return to Kigali – Departure
    • Breakfast and check-out.
    • Drive back to Kigali (approx. 2.5 hours) with an optional stop for souvenirs.
