This is a 4-day/3-night safari. Two nights will be spent in the Maasai Mara National Reserve region, and one night in Lake Nakuru National Reserve. This tour will cater to all meals except drinks. Specific dishes, such as vegetarian, gluten-free, and halal options, are available based on your preferences. Accommodation before or at the end of the tour is not catered and can be arranged for an additional fee.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Nairobi to Masai Mara

You will be picked up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) and transferred to Nairobi CBD to begin your journey to Masai Mara Game Reserve.
En route, stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for scenic views and photo opportunities.
Continue the journey through Narok town (a good place for a short break or supplies).
Arrive in Masai Mara in the late afternoon or early evening.
After lunch (depending on arrival time), enjoy a short introductory game drive to spot wildlife such as elephants, zebras, antelopes, and possibly big cats.
Dinner and overnight stay at the budget tented camp

🔹 Tip: Remember to carry binoculars, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen, and insect repellent.

DAY 2:Full Day Masai Mara

Early morning breakfast at the camp.
Embark on a full-day game drive with picnic lunch boxes to allow exploration of deeper parts of the reserve without returning to camp.
Discover the ecosystem that hosts the Big Five: Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant, and Buffalo.
Visit the Mara River, where you can witness hippos and crocodiles. During migration season (July–October), you may observe the Great Wildebeest Migration.
Optional: Visit a Maasai village in the evening to learn about local culture and traditions (entry fee approx. $20–$30 USD).
Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

🔹 Tip: Carry a refillable water bottle and layer clothing to prepare for varying temperatures.

Day 3:Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

After an early breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park with scenic views along the way.
Stop for a picnic lunch at a convenient spot, such as Transit Hotel in Narok or Nakuru.
Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park in the early evening.
Check-in at a hotel or lodge in Nakuru for dinner and overnight stay at the budget hotel.

🔹 Tip: Lake Nakuru is malaria-prone, so ensure you’re taking preventive measures.

Day 4:Lake Nakuru to Nairobi

Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its pink-hued shores due to flamingos and white and black rhinos.
Look out for additional wildlife such as Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, leopards, and pelicans.
Return to the lodge/hotel for breakfast, then relax before checking out.
Have lunch en route (either in Nakuru town or on the way).
Depart for Nairobi, expecting to arrive by around 4:00 PM, depending on traffic.
Optional drop-off at your hotel or airport for departure.
