Package Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Your journey begins early in the morning with a pick-up from Nairobi at 7:30 AM. You will drive towards the Maasai Mara, making a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy the stunning panoramic views and take some photos.

Continuing the journey, you will arrive at Maasai Mara around 1:00 PM, where you will check in at your lodge or tented camp. A delicious lunch will be served before you take some time to relax and settle in.

At 3:30 PM, you will embark on an afternoon game drive in Maasai Mara. This is an excellent opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and cheetahs. The drive will continue until 6:30 PM, when you return to the camp for dinner. Afterward, you can relax and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature as you prepare for an exciting second day.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara

Wake up early and enjoy a hearty breakfast at 7:00 AM in preparation for a full-day adventure in the reserve. At 8:00 AM, you will set out on a full-day game drive, exploring the vast plains of Maasai Mara in search of its iconic wildlife. This reserve is home to a diverse range of animals, including the Big Five—lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffaloes.

A picnic lunch will be served in the middle of the reserve, allowing you to enjoy your meal while surrounded by nature’s beauty.

In the afternoon, you will continue the game drive, exploring different areas of the park. At 4:30 PM, there is an optional visit to a Maasai village, where you can learn about the fascinating Maasai culture, their traditional way of life, and even take part in a cultural dance. The village visit is available at an additional fee of $20 per person.

By 5:30 PM, you will return to the camp or lodge, where you can relax before dinner is served at 7:30 PM. Spend the evening under the stars, reflecting on an incredible day in the wild.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Nairobi

For those interested, an early morning game drive is available at 6:30 AM to witness the spectacular sunrise and spot predators in action. This is one of the best times to see wildlife as they are most active in the cool morning hours.

After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for breakfast at 9:00 AM. Once you have enjoyed your meal, you will check out and begin the journey back to Nairobi at 10:00 AM.

A stop for lunch (at your own expense) will be made along the way. The expected arrival time in Nairobi is between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM, where you will be dropped off at your preferred location, marking the end of an unforgettable safari experience.
