After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your 09:00 am flight to Nairobi, connecting to Samburu National Reserve at 10:20 am.

On arrival at Samburu airstrip, meet the camp representative and transfer to Samburu Lodge or a similar lodge.

Samburu National Reserve is named after the local Samburu community.

The reserve is historically significant as one of the areas where George and Joy Adamson raised Elsa the lioness, featured in Born Free.

Enjoy a game drive en route to the camp.

Have lunch at the camp after settling in.

Embark on an afternoon game drive.

Overnight stay at Samburu Lodge or similar.

After an early breakfast, depart your camp for a half-day game drive.

Return to the camp later for lunch.

Samburu National Reserve is home to:

• All Big Cats: lions, leopards, and cheetahs

• Wild dogs

• Large herds of elephants

• Reticulated giraffes, Beisa oryx, Grevy’s zebra, gerenuk antelopes, kudu, Somali ostriches

In the evening, head out for another game drive before sundown.

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Masai Mara at approximately 09:35 am.

Arrive at Mara Serena airstrip and meet your lodge driver/guide.

Transfer a short distance to Mara Serena Lodge.
