Day 1: Arrival in Kigali & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

• Briefing about your Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safari before departure.
• Drive through the scenic Rwandan countryside towards Volcanoes National Park (approx. 2.5-hour drive).
• Check-in at your chosen lodge/hotel near Volcanoes National Park.
• Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

• Early breakfast at the lodge.
• Transfer to Volcanoes National Park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking rules.
• Begin your gorilla trekking adventure, hiking through lush bamboo forests to find a mountain gorilla family. The trek can take 2 to 6 hours, depending on gorilla movements.
• Spend one magical hour with the gorillas, watching them in their natural habitat.
• Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
• Optional Iby’iwacu Cultural Village Tour in the afternoon to learn about Rwandan traditions.
• Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Akagera National Park – Afternoon Game Drive

• Breakfast at the lodge and check out.
• Scenic drive to Akagera National Park (approx. 5-hour drive).
• Check-in at your selected lodge inside the park and enjoy lunch.
• Afternoon game drive to spot elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, buffaloes, and antelopes in Rwanda’s only savannah park.
• Sunset at Lake Ihema, a perfect spot for wildlife photography.
• Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 4: Morning Boat Safari & Kigali City Tour – Departure

• Return to the lodge for breakfast.
• Drive back to Kigali and enjoy a city tour, including:
  • Kigali Genocide Memorial
  • Local Markets & Craft Centers
  • Kimironko Market for Souvenirs
• Drop-off at Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.
