    4 Days Masai Mara Migration Safari

    Masai Mara is the largest game reserve in Kenya. It is globally famous for its exceptional population of Masai Lions, African Leopards, and Cheetahs, and the famous annual migration of Wildebeests from July to October among many more wildlife. Masai Mara covers 700 square miles of magnificent wilderness.
    Since the movements of the Wildebeest Migration can be unpredictable, we have designed this 4 Day Masai Mara Migration Safari other than the common 3 days to create ample time for the famous wildebeest’s drama as they cross the Mara River infested by crocodiles on wait for their catch. This safari program starts and ends in Nairobi.

    Itinerary

    Day 1:Nairobi - Masai Mara

    • Be met by our company representative or safari driver at your hotel/residence in the early morning.
    • Receive a debrief of the tour before departing.
    • Drive along the famous Great Rift Valley escarpments and flat floor on the way to Maasai Mara National Reserve.
    • Enjoy stunning panoramic views of alkaline lakes and volcanic terrains that dominate the region.
    • Arrive at your lodge/tented camp in time for lunch.
    • After lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive and a sundowner in the park.

    DAY 2 & 3:Full Day Masai Mara

    • Wake before dawn, enjoy a quick cup of tea/coffee, and head into the park to witness the Masai Mara sunrise lighting up the savanna plains.
    • Spot big cats taking advantage of the cool morning air in search of a meal.
    • Optionally, take a hot air balloon ride (at your own extra cost) to see untamed wildlife from above, followed by a full breakfast at your lodge or a wilderness breakfast among carnivores.
    • Relax at your lodge in the afternoon or enjoy a packed lunch for a full day of wildlife searching.

    DAY 4:Masai Mara - Nairobi

    • Before leaving the Masai Mara, visit a Maasai community village for a cultural experience (entrance fee payable at your own cost).
    • After the visit, begin your journey back to Nairobi or proceed to your next safari destination.
