The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a vast primeval forest situated in the Kanungu District of southwest Uganda. The Bwindi forest lies at an elevation of 1,160 to 2,607 meters (3,806 to 8,553 feet) on the edge of the Albertine Rift, which is the western branch of the East African Rift. The forest is home to more than 100 kinds of ferns and about 160 types of trees.
This day is dedicated for Aerolink local flights departing Entebbe Airport at 7:00 a.m. Arrive at Kisoro airfield near Bwindi and transfer to the resort with our safari guide. Arrive in time for lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and an overnight stay at your preferred accommodation.

Midrange: Chameleon Hill Lodge / Icumbi Gorilla lodge
Early in the morning, after breakfast and a packed lunch, you will go to the Park Headquarters for an official briefing. You will hike through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to discover the gorillas, which might take anything from half an hour to three quarters of a day. The densely forested area is crisscrossed by numerous animal pathways that provide access to tourists. Four to five hours are allotted for photographing and observing the gorillas as they play, feed, and groom. Dinner and overnight are the same as the prior night.
Following a leisurely breakfast, you and our safari guide will travel back to the airstrip where you will board your morning local aircraft at 09:00 and arrive in Entebbe at 11:45 a.m.
